Stay Single Until now?pressured bah??

i wonder why a lot of people ask me why i stay single at my age.
so what's the big deal?
some say i am wasting my genes,
others say i am soon out of the race,
and that i am beyond the ideal age of bearing a child...
the bottom line is: IT IS MY CHOICE.

of course i have a boyfriend and i am happy with him.
he is my life, my joy, my source of pain and frustration sometimes but i truly love him.
so why have we not settle down yet?
there are lots of things to consider, one thing is i am not yet ready...
we have agreed upon this matter,
once i am ready to slow down in my career.
refocus on being more domesticated that is the right time to talk about me walking down the aisle.
but as of now, we enjoy what we have and live each day with love and affection.
after all, marriage is just a state of being committed and tied by a ritual and sealed by a document.
what we have is more than that, genuine love, honesty, loyalty (we really strive to be one) and the will to sacrifice and compromise keeps our relationship stronger than other married couples who just give up and settle for divorce...
now who says i need to get married just to keep my man????i
